​The deadline for Open Enrollment application is 4 pm MST 1/9/2018.  All applications received after this time will be considered late and will be added to the bottom of the waitlist after lotteries are completed.

What do I have to do to enter the preschool lottery for a tuition seat next year?

A complete tuition lottery application requires two steps:

Do I need to apply again for my child's second year of preschool?

 

  • No, your child will automatically roll up. But don't forget to complete the annual online billing registration and pay the $50 fee! Also, if you wish to move your child to a different school for her second year, please tell your community liaison during the Preschool Lottery window.

Proof of Residency Requirements

​A bill for monthly services received at the home address is required for enrollment.  The bill must indicate the parent name, home address and a current date (within three months).  Acceptable bills include:

  • Current Xcel Energy bill, including service address
  • Current city Utilities bill, including service address
  • In doubled-up situations, please include a letter from the person the family is living.  You must also submit one of the above-listed forms of acceptable proof of address for the host family
  • Home phone bill (AT&T, Comcast, etc.) including the service address
  • Home cable bill (Comcast, Dish Network, etc.), including the service address
  • Home internet fill (Comcast, etc.), including the service address

The Preschool Lottery/Open Enrollment window is from November 1, 2017 through January 9, 2018.

K-12 Enrollment

  • EnrollNew or returning to BVSD; enrolling in the neighborhood school.

Find my neighborhood school

​​​Every address in the Boulder Valley School District has a an assigned neighborhood school for grades Kindergarten through 12.  To attend a school other than your neighborhood school, you must apply and be approved through the Open Enrollment lottery.

BVSD offers two ways to find your neighborhood school. Check out the BVSD School Locator.
